Diving in Italy

Diving in Italy during vacations offers the tourists endless coastline with amazing underwater world. Everyone, who remembers diving in Italy, as a rule, speaks of crystal clear waters of the sky-blue color, fabulous bays, exciting underwater world with a seemingly dangerous fish of fun coloring.

Different kinds of diving in Italy are available, for example, on the coast of the island of Sardinia. It is believed that in this region of Italy is the cleanest and clearest water. Here, off the coast of Sardinia fabulous coves and cliffs are replaced by white sand beaches. Other fantastic places for diving are located in the tourist region of Liguria, near Livorno in Tuscany region, near Gallipoli in Apulia, Emilia-Romagna, Calabria, in the Lazium and Piedmont regions.

There is also diving schools, where beginners are taught scuba diving and swimming in the water depths of Italy. Amazing feelings when submerging under the water can be compared with the feeling of flying.

During the dive a lot of interesting things can be seen in places of the wreckage of sunken ships, historic sites, as well as during the immersion to the tunnels formed during a volcanic eruption, for example, on the Aeolian Islands in the Gulf of Naples.

Lakes located in the upper part of Italy are also interesting for divers. Although the visibility under the water is incomparable with the immersion into the waters off the coast of the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. However, for example, at the bottom of Lake Garda is a place near which in ancient times occurred important battles.
