7-star hotel in Italy will be built in Val Gardena

In the heart of the Dolomites, at a popular ski resort of Val Gardena in half a year will be built ultra comfortable 7-star hotel. In Italy it will be the first hotel of this level, there are only few 7-star hotels worldwide, among them are: Burj al Arab in Dubai, International in Bangkok and Town House Galleria in Milan. According to the president of the Saslong company and future owner of the hotel Claudio Riffezer, service quality and infrastructure of the hotel will be similar to the standards of such brilliant hotels. For example, right next to one of the most popular ski slopes can be rented magnificent suites ranging from 360 square meters, with a salty lake on the roof, and the most modest rooms will have an area of more than 70 square meters. The guests of the resort will be delivered by limos not only to the airport, but also to the ski lifts. The basis for the future architectural masterpiece will serve Sochers hotel, which has only three stars.

The designer of a new super hotel is Norman Foster - one of the world's most popular architects. On his projects were created such famous buildings as: “Millennium” bridge in London, Collserola skyscraper in Spain and the dome of the Reichstag in Berlin. And for the Museum building at Duxford and skyscraper Mary Axe Norman Foster was awarded the Stirling Prize. A distinctive feature of the new hotel will be its appearance, according to Norman, from the outside the whole complex of buildings will resemble a beehive.

Val Gardena ski area includes three resorts: Ortisei (1,236 m), Santa Cristina (1,428 m) and Selva Gardena (1,536 m), with total length of slopes 175 km. In Santa Cristina annually in December is held a stage of the men downhill World Cup.
