Rezidor will open a hotel near the Milan airport

The Rezidor Hotel Group will present its first Park Inn hotel in Italy. This is a totally rebranded Grand Hotel Milan Malpensa located near the international airport of Milan and a number of major attractions.

Opening of the hotel near the leading airport in Milan continued Rezidor’s strategy on creating hotels near the leading airports in Europe. The company currently manages Park Inn hotels near the Heathrow Airport in London, as well as near the airports in Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

To date Milan Malpensa Airport is the second busiest airport in Italy after Rome. The airport is used by numerous business and cultural tourists visiting Milan. In addition Milan Malpensa airport is a gateway to the Italian Alps.

It is worth noting that The Park Inn by Radisson Milan Malpensa has been quite successfully operating during the last six months. Rezidor just waited for a good opportunity to attract more attention to the hotel opening. This hotel is designed for 138 rooms, was completely renovated and reopened under the new brand in May 2011. It is worth noting that after the name change it did not changed owner. The owner of The Park Inn by Radisson Milan Malpensa is the former owner of the Grand Hotel Milan Malpensa - Luigi Simari.

The hotel provides for a classic Park Inn services: restaurant, bar, several meeting rooms, fitness room and business center.

It is expected that the demand will increase greatly over the next few days after opening the Alpine ski season.

The concept of the Park Inn network development is simple. It means opening hotels in already existing buildings. It can be predicted that in the near future the company will enter the Italian market with new chain hotels. In total in the world will be 150 hotels under the Park Inn brand.
