Historic Borgo and Impressive Buildings

In Compiano’s historic borgo, paved lanes climb between noble palaces and tower houses. This gives the town a distinct architectural character and makes its historic structure immediately visible. History in the Church, Castle and Museum

Among the town’s notable religious and defensive buildings is the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It probably dates back to the Lombard period.
