Podenzano: Cycling Routes, Nure River Floodplain and Historic Buildings

Churches and Oratories

The Oratorio di S. Pietro in Vincoli in Podenzano is dated to 1717. The parish church of San Germano e San Giovanni Bosco was rebuilt between 1934 and 1940 in the Neo-Romanesque style. Both buildings represent different phases of the town's history and provide two clearly distinct architectural points of reference.

The ancient Oratorio di San Giacomo delle Caselle was built between the 11th and 12th centuries and was recently restored. Together with the oratory dated to 1717 and the parish church rebuilt between 1934 and 1940, Podenzano offers buildings with distinctly different dates of origin.
