Tassara among hills, cultural heritage and Val Tidone

The Chiesa S. Anna is located on Strada Provinciale 45 in Tassara. Together with the adjoining rural buildings near the parish house of the Chiesa Parrocchiale di Sant'Anna, it has been protected as a cultural asset through an explicit protection measure dated September 25, 2001. The church is therefore one of the village's concrete historical points of reference that you can notice while finding your way around Tassara.

The Castello di Tassara also preserves a special testimony to everyday life in the past: the castle contains an old, vaulted brick oven. It was once used by the entire village; to this day, it is used to bake pizza and other dishes. This makes the oven a vivid detail illustrating the connection between historic building fabric and continued use.

Views and historical traces

From the Castello di Tassara, you can look out over the hills of the Val Tidone fields. These descend in changing colors toward the Po Plain; the Alps are visible in the distance on the northern horizon. The Santuario di Santa Maria del Monte is located in the Località Tassara in Alta Val Tidone. Cycling routes with different distances

A cycling route runs through Val Tidone down to the village of Tassara. From there, a cycling route variant leads to Trevozzo and adds 6 km and 200 m of elevation gain. Another cycling alternative runs from Tassara via Trevozzo to Borgonovo; it adds 4 km and likewise 200 m of elevation gain.
