Sea, Promenade and Paths into the Hinterland
At Misano Adriatico’s beach, you can play beach tennis, beach volleyball and swim. The seafront promenade runs along the beach side and is particularly inviting for evening walks. The paths offer a different perspective on the surrounding area: the EcoVia del Conca begins in Portoverde by the sea and follows the Conca River towards the hills. The EcoVia delle Colline runs past fields and vineyards and offers views of the sea.
The Oasi del Conca also adds to this landscape. It forms a green corridor leading from Misano towards the hills of the hinterland. Its surfaced paths are used by mountain bikers as well as families with children on foot. The Parco Mare-Nord is also located along the EcoVia del Mare and is suitable for shady breaks and picnics under pine trees. This makes it possible to combine exercise, nature observation and peaceful breaks.
Maritime Heritage and Historical Sites
The Pieve dei SS Biagio ed Erasmo was built in 997 at a place called “Monte della Pieve”, today’s Misano Monte. The MISANODAMARE app provides a maritime gateway to the municipality: it conveys the maritime traditions of Misano Adriatico and enables visitors to explore the municipality’s historical and ecological heritage.
The MISANODAMARE tourist route runs along the seafront promenade from Piazzale Roma to the Portoverde marina and is divided into eight stops. Portoverde itself is a completely car-free Mediterranean-style village with white houses and blue windows. The complex includes venues for aperitifs, restaurants along the Darsena, shops and equipped beaches.
Festivals, Music and Lively Squares
The events calendar also offers specific opportunities to discover Misano Adriatico culturally. In 2025, the Festa della Segavecchia reached its 37th edition; the traditional celebration lasts two days and includes a Luna Park, exhibitions, markets, performances and street food. The Misano Piano Festival reached its 34th edition in 2026. The Festa dell’Agina is a traditional local celebration.
During the Palio del Capitano di Castello, Piazza della Repubblica is transformed into a medieval village for one evening. The Palio includes falconry, historical games, flag throwers, drummers, armed performers and female dancers, among other attractions. This places historically themed festivities alongside the coast at the heart of the town.
Sports History and Experiences for Children
Arena 58 is a dirt-surface ring located less than 100 metres from the sea, initially used as a speedway track and later as a flat-track circuit. The Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” was established in 1972 and has hosted major two- and four-wheel events for years. For children, Pony Experience offers the opportunity to observe free-roaming horses up close, interact with them and enjoy a short pony ride.
