The Chiesa del Castello consists of the Oratorio di San Giovanni Battista and the parish church of Saints Peter and Paul; the two areas are connected by a triple arcade. In May 2020, the Santuario della Beata Vergine di Pontenovo was elevated to the shrine of the San Polo d'Enza-Canossa pastoral unit “Terre del Perdono”.
