Promenade and cycle paths by the beach
Parco del Mare Nord stretches from Rivabella to Torre Pedrera. This area includes more than 6 kilometres of redeveloped seafront promenade as well as 5 kilometres of new cycle paths. Rivabella therefore offers a concrete starting point for anyone who likes to combine their stay with walks or cycling tours along the coast. The extension towards Torre Pedrera also makes it clear that the town is part of a longer section of the seafront redevelopment.
There is a water park directly on Rivabella beach. Tennis courts, small-sided football pitches, and baseball and softball fields are also available in the immediate vicinity of the beach. In addition, Rivabella offers numerous sports opportunities for all age groups. Depending on your travel plans, you can therefore focus on different activities here: a day at the beach, sporting activities or a combination of both.
Summer evenings with music and Liscio
Music evenings are part of Rivabella's summer programme. Liscio, a typical folk dance from Romagna, is one element of the summer entertainment programme. The term therefore refers to a regional dance tradition that gives the evenings a clear connection to the culture of Romagna. Piadina, wine and Ciambella
Piadineria Iris in Rivabella, at Lungomare Viale Paolo Toscanelli 58, has its own culinary history. The establishment was founded in 1957 by Mrs Iris of the Gagiotti family and has been awarded the title “Bottega Storica”. At Piadineria Iris, every piadina is freshly prepared and filled on site. This means that it is not just a single dish that takes centre stage here, but also a family history stretching back over decades.
Rivabella's summer programme also includes tastings of wine and ciambella, a local sweet speciality. Together with the freshly prepared piadina, this creates a culinary introduction to Romagna that can be easily combined with a stay at the beach or an evening with music.
Getting there and proximity to the beach
The Pantera spring is located about 200 metres from Rivabella beach; very fine diuretic water can be drunk there.
By car, Rivabella can be reached via the A14 motorway, Rimini nord exit. You can also reach Rivabella by local buses from Rimini's central railway station. Your travel planning can therefore include either arriving via the motorway or travelling from the railway station by public transport.
