Fontanafredda combines traces of the Roman imperial era with buildings from different periods and a landscape shaped by water. Several Roman imperial-era tombs attest to Fontanafredda’s ancient origins. The church houses a depiction of the Descent from the Cross dating to the 17th century, attributed to Isacco Fischer.

The Chiesetta di Sant’Antonio dates from 1348, was remodelled in 1762 and restored in 1963. The Palazzo Flangini - Biglia is also located in the vicinity of Fontanafredda. Together with the villa and the parish church, it forms a cultural focus where you can view different architectural forms, periods and religious works of art side by side.

In Vigonovo, wet meadows lie along small waterways such as the Rio Bodegan, the Orzaia River and the Acqua del Molino.
