La Croce southwest of Fontanafredda

The La Croce industrial area is located southwest of Fontanafredda. The geographical connections vary: the palaces are in the immediate vicinity of La Croce, the Church of San Antonio di Nave stands in the area around La Croce on the Livenza River, the parish church is located in Vigonovo, and the wet meadows of Vigonovo lie along small waterways; there are canals in the area around the mill. Palaces and Churches

Mill, Canals and Wildlife

There are canals and a small lake with swans, fish and many aquatic animals in the area around the mill. A mill in the surrounding area began operating in 1842. The bodies of water around the mill differ from the wet meadows along the small waterways near Vigonovo: here, canals and a lake occur together, while there the Rio Bodegan, Orzaia and Acqua del Molino flow. The start of operations in 1842 adds a historical connection to the mill area.

Music in the La Croce Industrial Area

Brudstock was a three-part evening music event held in July in the La Croce industrial area. Each of the three parts lasted from 20:00 to 04:00 and thus continued into the early morning hours. In 2019, Brudstock included a competition or presentation event for young music groups. The time frame from 20:00 to 04:00 defines the evening and night as the period of each event part.
