Geology, art and history
At the Museo Geologico della Carnia, a collection of rocks and fossils, explanatory panels and multimedia displays make it possible to trace the history of Carnia from 450 to 40 million years ago.

The Duomo di San Daniele Profeta preserves paintings by Nicola Grassi from 1725. It also has a Baroque altar by Giovanni Saidero from 1641.
The present-day Chiesa della Santissima Trinità in Oltris was consecrated on 16 August 1771. The church contains a painting of the Trinity attributed to Gian Pietro Fubiaro.

After the 1976 earthquake, it was decided to move the Chiesa di San Rocco in Voltois to safer ground in the village of Pocis. This process is part of the more recent history of local religious buildings.

The Foresta di Ampezzo at Passo Pura offers opportunities for hiking. The Biotopo di Cimacorso also offers opportunities for hiking on the valley floor.
The “Bosco Flobia” educational trail was established for people with visual impairments. The “Tiziana Weiss” nature trail was created.
A network of marked trails leads from Passo del Pura to the surrounding peaks. The range of trails therefore extends from the valley floor to higher-altitude landscapes.
The Cappella degli Alpini on State Road 52 provides a distinctive point of orientation on site: it is accessible on foot from the road.
