Aprilia Marittima is located directly on the Marano Lagoon and combines the maritime landscape with the history of a port and residential area. The town was established in the 1970s on the lagoon shore of the municipalities of Latisana and Marano as a marina for tourism and a residential marina on the Upper Adriatic. When choosing a hotel in Aprilia Marittima, it is therefore particularly relevant whether you want to focus your stay on boating experiences, routes along the water, regional products or relaxation.

Marinas with different focuses

Marina Capo Nord has space for 650 boats measuring between 10 and 20 metres in length. It includes a crane-pass service, allowing boats to remain on land all year round. There is also a swimming pool near its berth. Marina Resort Punta Gabbiani has space for up to 300 boats measuring between 10 and 25 metres in length. These different scales give the port area a clear maritime profile, without all the facilities having the same focus.

Aprilia Marittima 2000 S.p.a. – Dry Marina has more than 50,000 square metres of enclosed outdoor storage areas. It offers maintenance, overhauls and specialised technical support. Darsena Aprilia Marittima was the first marina to be built in the Aprilia Marittima district and has 16 piers.

Cycling paths, canals and excursions into the lagoon

Via the Lungolaguna embankment, Aprilia Marittima is connected to cycling and walking paths in the surrounding area. These routes lead towards Lignano Sabbiadoro and towards the Tagliamento River. This makes the embankment a practical reference point for visitors who do not want to spend their entire stay by the water and who want to explore the surrounding area on foot or by bicycle.

Aprilia Marittima is also a starting point for boat trips: one boat excursion begins here and leads to the casoni in the Marano Lagoon. Darsena Aprilia Marittima can be reached by boat from the entrance to the port of Lignano via the Coron Channel, which is marked by buoys. For planning a day, routes over land and water therefore differ significantly.

Wellness by the lagoon

Corallino Wellness offers thalassotherapy using seawater, salts and algae. After making a reservation, the entire centre can be used privately by four to five people.

Regional products and events

The Mercato Agricolo takes place every Friday in July, August and September on Via dei Coralli in Aprilia Marittima. The market sells fresh regional products directly from local farms. Anyone who wants to discover local everyday culture through food will find a clearly seasonal event here within the town.

NAUTILIA is also part of Aprilia Marittima’s maritime events programme as a historical exhibition for used boats. The 39th edition is scheduled for 17, 18 and 19 October, as well as 23, 24 and 25 October 2026, at the Centro Nautico in Aprilia Marittima in Latisana (Udine).
