Pozzuolo del Friuli is particularly accessible through its archaeological and historical sites. The archaeological complex of Pozzuolo comprises the elevations of Cjastiei and La Culine on the left bank of the Torrente Cormôr. It also includes the surrounding terraces and level areas with a fortified settlement, production areas and four burial areas. The Castelliere di Pozzuolo del Friuli is one of the few long-lived fortified settlements in the central Friulian plain.

The Centro Visite Storico Archeologico documents the ancient history of the Pozzuolo del Friuli area, particularly the prehistoric settlement of Sammardenchia. It is one of the largest settlements of the Early Neolithic in northern Italy. Through staged displays as well as copies and reconstructions of ancient artifacts, the center immerses visitors in the world of a 7,000-year-old farming village. Church, fortification and military history
The Church of Sant'Andrea stands on elevated ground within the historic fortifications of Pozzuolo del Friuli, on the edge of the present-day settlement. The new Church of Sant'Andrea was completed in 1648 and consecrated in May of the same year by Patriarch Marco Gradenigo. The consecration in May 1648 followed the completion of the new church in the same year.
The memory of military events also shapes Pozzuolo del Friuli. The town is associated with the attack by Genoese cavalrymen and Novara lancers on October 30, 1917. It also has a historical connection to the Italian Alpini's campaign in Russia in 1942–43. The Museo storico della Campagna di Russia documents the Italian Army's campaign in Russia during the Second World War from 1941 to 1943.
