The BEIBARHAUS craft workshop in Sauris di Sotto is located in an old stone and wooden sawmill. Carpets and tapestries are made on a hand loom. Table decorations, scarves, capes, and blankets are also produced. The work on the hand loom and the old mill are located in the same workshop.

Route Through Stavoli and Forests

The L'antro della Bélin – Località Straitar – 2H route leads from the Kursaal in Sauris di Sotto eastward uphill through Stavoli and forests to Straitar. It passes by a characteristic rock fissure called Bélinlouch. The starting point at the Kursaal, the direction east, and the destination Straitar provide fixed points of orientation along the route. When planning the time, the ascent on the section through Stavoli and forests should be explicitly taken into account; Straitar remains the endpoint of the described route.
