Stage 4 of the Cammino and getting there

Stage 4 of the Cammino delle 44 Chiesette Votive runs from Pechinie via Stermizza to Masseris. Stermizza lies between Pechinie and Masseris. The stage starts in Pechinie, not in Stermizza. The starting point of the fourth stage can be reached by car, bicycle or on foot. There is also a bus connection from Cividale to Montemaggiore operated by TPL FVG. This means that car, bicycle and walking can be considered separate options for getting to the start. The bus connection runs from Cividale to Montemaggiore; by contrast, the hiking route starts in Pechinie and ends in Masseris.

Mountain biking and Triajur between Savogna and Montemaggiore

The first Triajur stage is a mountain bike stage. It runs from Savogna via Stefenig, Tercimonte, Iellina, Dus and Stermizza to Montemaggiore. The route follows paved roads and forest tracks. Triajur is associated with an event held annually on 1 May. When planning the ride, the change in trail surfaces is a specific factor: both paved roads and forest tracks are part of this stage. Tire choice, pace and breaks can be adjusted to these changes.
