The self-guided tour through Civenna begins at the Belvedere car park. This starting point of the route can be reached by car or by the C36 Bellagio–Asso bus line and can therefore be incorporated into an individually planned exploration. Bellagio Trekking 7 reaches the Croce di Civenna via a short detour to the right, which leads in a few minutes to a viewpoint over the village and the lake. Along this hiking route, there is water at Cascina Giacinta near the GPS track.

The Belvedere di Civenna is a viewpoint at the entrance to the village offering a spectacular view of the Grigne. The Passeggiata Ettore Foschi provides a different perspective: from there, you can see across the entire Lecco branch of Lake Como. At the entrance to the Cine-Teatro, there is also the Balcone delle Grigne terrace, whose panorama is impressive. These three places offer different perspectives: one opens up the view of the Grigne, another directs the gaze across the lake, and the terrace connects the village with a vast panorama.

Nature experiences and hiking destinations

Along the route from Civenna to Monte San Primo stands the Fòò Sec, a distinctive beech tree approximately 200 years old. The tree is a concrete landmark within the landscape, without requiring you to undertake a separate tour. The village itself also contains remarkable traces of the past. A funerary Masso avello, that is, a tomb carved into a glacial erratic, dates from the 2nd or 3rd century AD. This tomb was later reused as a basin for the water supply system. The parish church of Santi Materno e Ambrogio contains a dressed crucifix from the 14th century. The small Madonna del Grè church dates from the 16th century and adds to these historically distant testimonies.

Villa Cassia is a historic residence in Civenna whose architectural character has been preserved over time. In the characteristic district of Castello, the village prison was once located; this function belongs to the past.
