Sant'Antonio di Ranverso: International Gothic and Painting

The Sant'Antonio di Ranverso monastic complex is one of the most significant examples of International Gothic. The complex includes the church, the monastery with its preserved cloister, the preserved façade of the former hospital and an articulated system of farmsteads. In the 15th century, the church of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso received an extensive fresco cycle. The high altar features a large polyptych of the Nativity by Defendente Ferrari.
