Andalo between lake, mountain landscape and nature
Andalo combines diverse landscape experiences with clearly tangible traces of its history. Part of the municipal area lies within Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta. The Lago di Andalo is also part of the area's natural character: the shallow karst lake changes its surface depending on the season and amount of precipitation. In spring, it reaches its highest water level due to the snowmelt. Some of the water flows via the Rio Lambin towards Lago di Molveno.

A circular route of around 2.6 kilometres leads around Lago di Andalo. The route is flat, mostly paved and suitable for pushchairs. This makes it possible to enjoy a varied stay even if you are not planning a demanding mountain tour. Those travelling with their family or preferring a relaxed route will find a clearly defined way here to experience the landscape at their own pace.
High-altitude destinations and paths on Paganella
From Andalo, you can reach Cima Paganella via the Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola lift, a 500-metre-long footpath and then the Albi de Mez-Cima Paganella chairlift. This connection leads from the village up into the mountains and makes Paganella an important point of reference when planning your day. At the summit of Paganella, you can reach the entrance to the Ferrata delle Aquile via the first section of the Sentiero delle Aquile, or the F10 ex 602 path, in around 45 minutes.
The names of the paths represent different forms of mountain experience: access to the Ferrata delle Aquile is connected with a high-altitude stay and a specific route, while the circular route around Lago di Andalo offers a flat, paved trail. This allows you to weigh up the lake, village area and mountain landscape when planning your activities, without having to define every outing as the same type of excursion.
Churches, finds and historic townscapes
In the centre of Andalo stands the Chiesa dei Santi Vito, Modesto e Crescenzia Martiri. It was built from 1782 onwards, completed and blessed in 1783. An older historical reference can be found at the Doss: there, archaeologists uncovered the remains of a church dating from the 15th to the 16th century. Several burials were found nearby, considered evidence of what was probably Andalo's first cemetery.
The Maso Pegorar is also one of the visible features of the townscape. It remains set apart from the rest of Andalo in a panoramic location. Together with the church in the centre and the finds at the Doss, it provides access to different historical layers of the town: sacred architecture, archaeological remains and a historic building that remains clearly set apart stand side by side.

Andalo Life Park offers indoor and outdoor experiences. Visits to the Mostra miniature are scheduled for summer and winter; in spring and autumn, group visits are available by reservation. Depending on your travel period and interests, you can therefore choose between nature, activity, culture and experiences in the open air or indoors.
