Pinzolo lies at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and also at the foot of the Adamello-Presanella Group. When planning your trip to Pinzolo, different interests take centre stage: mountain landscapes, excursions, cycling routes, swimming experiences and culture. Pinzolo is also a starting point for ascents and traverses in the Adamello-Presanella Group.

Mountain landscapes with wide-ranging panoramas

Pinzolo and its hamlets are located in a natural area where the Dolomites are recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and which is also recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Doss del Sabion offers a 360-degree panorama. These two perspectives – the direct connection with the mountain groups and the wide-ranging view from Doss del Sabion – shape how visitors orient themselves in the town and its surroundings.

Tour Val Genova for hiking and e-biking

Tour Val Genova No. 981 leads from Pinzolo through Adamello-Brenta Nature Park to Rifugio Bedole. Along the way, it passes waterfalls, forests, alpine meadows and mountain huts. The tour is not very technical, is also suitable for less experienced riders and is ideal for e-bikes. This makes it appealing to travellers who want to combine a specific route with varied landscape impressions without a high level of technical difficulty being the main focus.

Biolago di Pinzolo and Chiesa di San Vigilio

The Biolago di Pinzolo is a natural swimming pool suitable for bathing in the Pineta area, close to the sports facilities, playground and centre of Pinzolo. It has a separate, well-maintained bathing area for children. The water is naturally filtered and purified and is suitable for swimming without chemical additives. In this way, the Biolago complements mountain and cycling experiences with time spent by the water.

A cultural landmark is the Chiesa di San Vigilio, which dates back to the 10th century. In 1539, Simone II Baschenis created the Danza Macabra cycle there. The church building and the cycle thus represent different historical layers that you can discover while exploring Pinzolo.

Cycling planning with precise route information

The Val Rendena cycling route begins approximately 500 m south of the car park for the Tulot gondola lift, in the direction of Pinzolo. The initial section from Loc. Tulot to Pineta di Pinzolo is closed until the works on the Pinzolo bypass are completed, at the latest until 13 December 2027 or until the works are finished. For another sporting option, the complete loop of the Pista di skiroll Vioftra covers 2,146 m with 91 m of positive elevation gain.

Shape your stay around your interests

When choosing your accommodation in Pinzolo, you can first decide which of these facets should shape your stay: the mountain landscape at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella Group, Tour Val Genova, the panorama from Doss del Sabion, cycling routes, the Biolago or the Chiesa di San Vigilio.
