Ponte Arche can be explored from three perspectives: wellness, trails through the landscape and culture. The combination of the local thermal baths, routes with different themes and destinations in the nearby and wider surrounding region opens up various ways to shape your trip to Italy. Depending on your interests, you can focus on experiences in nature, physical activity, architecture or history.

Thermal Baths and Park

The Terme di Comano are located in Ponte Arche. The wellness offering also includes the Parco Termale: it covers 14 hectares and offers numerous activities open to everyone. The park therefore complements a stay centred around the thermal baths with an expansive place for a variety of activities, without requiring a specific travel itinerary.

Trails with Different Themes

The Sentiero dell'Acqua leads from Ponte Arche via Villa Banale, the Canyon del Limarò and Comano back to Ponte Arche. The Sentiero della Fede begins at the Giardino al Sarca in Ponte Arche/Comano Terme. The Km0 UNESCO Comano Gravel Tour also starts in Ponte Arche. For cycling enthusiasts, “Piccoli borghi, grandi meraviglie” is a guided e-bike tour through Bleggio, including a Merenda at Osteria Il Catenaccio in the historic centre of Rango. The meeting point is CM Emporio, Piazza Mercato 14, in Ponte Arche.

Landscape in the Surrounding Area

Monte Casale, a mountain, is located in the immediate vicinity of Ponte Arche. The surrounding area of Ponte Arche also includes Monte Brento, a mountain, Monte Brugnol, a mountain, and Cima Sera, a peak. The ancient site of Area archeologica del Monte San Martino is also located nearby. The different designations help you keep natural destinations and places of cultural and historical interest conceptually distinct when planning.

Culture, History and Architecture

Borgo di Canale, a castle, and Castel d'Arco, a castle, are located in the surrounding area of Ponte Arche. The Museo Storico delle Truppe Alpine, a museum, is located in the wider surrounding region. The Chiesa dell’Ausiliatrice in Ponte Arche has a distinct architectural connection: it was inaugurated on 31 January 2021, the feast day of Saint Giovanni Bosco, the patron saint of Ponte Arche. When planning its extension, the historic apse was to be preserved in a contemporary-designed building.
