Accommodation in Prè Di Ledro
A Special Winter Date
Every year on the first Sunday in February, Prè di Ledro celebrates the Festa del Sol, a festival celebrating the return of the sun. At the same time, because of the surrounding mountains, the village remains almost entirely without direct sunlight throughout the winter. For you, this creates a clear seasonal highlight: the February date and the winter appearance of the village are among the special features you can consciously consider together when planning a trip to Prè di Ledro.

Churches and Local History
The first records of the Chiesa di San Giacomo maggiore in Prè di Ledro date back to 1 May 1537, when a pastoral visit took place in the Ledro Valley. The Chiesetta di San Rocco in Prè was built by the Battaini family in the 17th century, after they had made a vow to the saint in gratitude for protecting the family from the plague of 1630. In 1671, the Chiesetta di San Rocco was considered well built and appropriately furnished by its founder. For your cultural travel planning, this places two churches and several clearly dated historical references at the centre.
Trails Between the Bridge and Lake Garda Views
The Sentér de Malga Vil (Sentiero a Malga Vil) begins in Prè di Ledro and crosses the old bridge over the Rio Ponale. The Sentiero Monsignor Giovanni Antonioli has a viewpoint with panoramic views of Lake Garda. On the Sentiero del Ponale, the cycle path and footpath come together again near Prè di Ledro. The combination of trail, bridge, viewpoint and the renewed meeting of cycle path and footpath appeals to different interests when you plan your days around hiking, cycling and landscape experiences.
