Wellness in the Valorz Valley
The wellness area of San Bernardo is located in the Valorz Valley. The valley landscape is characterised by striking waterfalls. In the village, the Kneipp centre covers 550 square metres, 350 square metres of which are dedicated to the Kneipp trail. This trail leads through shallow water, over rounded stones and across fine volcanic dust. San Bernardo therefore offers a clearly defined wellness focus alongside its hiking trails and cultural attractions.
Trails between water, forest and culture
The Sentiero Valorz is a circular trail approximately two kilometres long. In the area around the wellness centre in San Bernardo, it follows an art and culture trail. The base of the Cascata di Valorz can be reached via a trail that begins in San Bernardo.
A hike on the valley floor begins at the tourist information office in San Bernardo and follows a forest path along the river. The route alternates between green meadows and forest before returning to San Bernardo.
A three-kilometre trail for various uses, including cycling, runs between San Bernardo di Rabbi and Terme di Rabbi. Together with the approximately two-kilometre Sentiero Valorz circular trail, this provides a choice of trails of different lengths: one connects the two villages, while the other is a circular route in the area around the wellness centre in San Bernardo. At approximately two kilometres, the Sentiero Valorz is shorter than the three-kilometre connection to Terme di Rabbi.
Mountains and waterfalls in the surrounding area
Cascate di Saent, a waterfall, is located in the immediate vicinity of San Bernardo. Cima delle Mandrie is a mountain in the nearby area.
