Since 2012, the Museo Civico di Lugnano in Teverina has housed a permanent exhibition on the First World War. It also contains two exhibitions featuring archaeological finds from a Roman villa and a 5th-century AD children's necropolis at the Poggio Gramignano archaeological site.
The Chiesa Collegiata di S. Maria is a Romanesque church dating from the 11th and 12th centuries, built over an earlier structure from the 9th century. Its portico was added before 1230; the church contains Cosmatesque mosaics. The Chiesa della Maestà is also known as Maestade, is dedicated to San Giovanni Decollato, dates from the 1400s and may initially have been a small shrine chapel.
The historic townscape includes preserved walls and remnants of towers. Among them is the Torre Palombara, a typical medieval tower featuring a white stone dove. These architectural testimonies complement the medieval character that the historic centre has preserved to this day and which has remained largely intact.
