The historical reenactment event Il Mastrogiurato adds a special cultural dimension. It begins with the “Tenzone dei Quartieri” in Piazza Plebiscito. The historical procession includes more than 600 participants in costume. As part of the event, a medieval market takes place from Wednesday onward in the Rocca del Mastrogiurato, within the Torri Montanare complex—or, depending on the year, at other locations.

The event week includes food stalls offering Pizzonta del pellegrino and Torcinelli. This combination of history, a public festival and regionally influenced dishes makes Il Mastrogiurato a distinct focus of the stay.
