Case Peschiera-lu Fraili gives you several different ways to experience the landscape and its attractions: you can reach the San Teodoro Lagoon independently via the Pischéra (Peschiera) area at the northern entrance from the SS 125. There is a free car park near this entrance, and the lagoon is freely accessible.

Getting to Lu Fraili and Lu Impostu

To reach Lu Impostu, follow the SS 125 Orientale Sarda northwards. In the hamlet of Lu Fraili, turn onto the road to Puntaldìa–Lu Impostu and then continue for approximately two kilometres. Lu Fraili is one of the localities and hamlets along the SS 125 served by the ARST public transport service. This makes it possible to plan your journey using the road connection described above and with public transport in mind.

Beach, dunes and Mediterranean maquis

Lu Impostu, a beach that is one kilometre long and very wide, is located nearby. Fine, soft, white dunes there are covered with juniper, mimosa, sea holly and sea lilies. Anyone who would like to appreciate not only a stay by the sea but also the forms and plants of a dune landscape will find a distinct natural feature here. Lu Impostu can thus be included in a day plan that considers the coast and landscape together.

Boat trips and snorkelling

For an excursion on the water, the lagoon boat trip on the Lianti starts at Molo La Pischera and lasts 45 minutes. The "La Pischera" nature trail also allows you to explore the Mediterranean maquis with the support of expert nature guides. In the vicinity of Cala Suaraccia, you can snorkel close to the shore among numerous fish in different colours. These three activities focus on different experiences: boating, guided nature observation and an underwater experience.

Events in Pischéra

The events calendar also shapes Pischéra. The sporting event "Currendi in Pischéra" – the Flamingo Trophy and memorial run for Alberto Ventroni – takes place every year on 25 April in Pischéra. The Festa della Laguna takes place there on the last Sunday in September and offers local fish products and music. In addition, the closing concert of the Time in Jazz festival has been held in Pischéra for several years.
