A narrow sandspit connects the mainland near Porto Pollo with Isola dei Gabbiani, also known as Isuledda. The Porto Pollo Pro Center offers windsurfing courses for children aged four to fourteen. The Porto Pollo Pro Center offers private one-hour wingfoil lessons. The Kite Zone is located to the left of the isthmus connecting the mainland with Isola dei Gabbiani. In Porto Pollo, you can also rent sun umbrellas and boats. This allows you to place different emphasis on sporting activities and time by the water, without limiting the area to just one type of leisure activity.

Beach, dunes and Mediterranean maquis

Porto Pollo also has distinctive landscape features away from the water. Angolo Azzurro is a small, sheltered beach at the beginning of Porto Pollo. The beach area is surrounded by Mediterranean maquis, while the dunes of Porto Pollo are more than twenty metres high. The landscape also includes the ecologically valuable Isola dei Gabbiani, which covers 18 hectares. Those who do not plan their stay exclusively around sporting activities will therefore also find specific opportunities here for beach and nature experiences.

Getting there via Palau

From Palau, you can reach Porto Pollo via the Strada Statale 133 bis and the Strada Provinciale 98. For orientation on site, the Porto Pollo car park is also a useful reference point: it is accessible to people with disabilities.
