Vaccileddi between village, coast and culture
Vaccileddi still preserves the character of a pleasant village with long-standing agro-pastoral traditions. At the same time, it lies on the SS125 Orientale Sarda, the coastal road that runs south from Olbia. At the centre of the village is the church dedicated to Saint Anthony. Cultural experiences in the village and in Olbia
Casa Enas organises cultural, theatrical and circus-related initiatives, concerts, training courses and workshops, exhibitions, festivals, arts and crafts markets, as well as art therapy programmes. Trails for short and long excursions
The area around Vaccileddi offers a variety of routes for walks and hikes. An approximately 3 km-long unpaved path runs from Porto San Paolo to Corallina Beach and then continues close to the coast towards Porto Istana. A circular hiking trail to Cala Coda Cavallo starts in Vaccileddi. The two route descriptions reflect different landscape settings: one first leads to a beach and then continues close to the coast, while the other takes Vaccileddi as its starting point.
A longer excursion is the Lu Caminu di Li Falchi trail. It extends over 11 km and takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. The area around Vaccileddi also offers opportunities for mountain biking, canyoning, jumping, abseiling, sliding, trekking and Nordic walking. The different route lengths help you distinguish shorter trails from a longer day of hiking.
